I was the Leading Electronic Technician in OHP from 1979 to 1983. First and second Med Cruises, Great Lakes recruiting cruise 1979, what a great time to be in the Navy.

Nice to see someone who appriciates the old ship. I served on the OHP from May 81 til July 83. Med cruise, Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf, REFTRA Cuba, Panaman canal, Suez canal, Spec Opps central america ETC.... an underway MF. Loved the ship. Many great memories and friends. PC3 Logan

I remember that cruise in '88 . I was part of the regular crew and recognize most of the sailors here.. good memories in St Thomas....

I was a marine electrician and worked aboard ffg 7 (hull 370) for years. During the whole flight of ships at BIW I built one office complex, one 2/100 berthing, one machine shop, one helo control station, one stearing gear room, and more hello hangers, 400 hz rooms, and helo work shops than I can remember.
I hope they worked well for yall

Thank you for sharing these pictures.
I used to live near Hazard , Perry count in Kentucky wich was named after the Commodore Hazard Oliver Perry !
And I knew there was a navy ship out there ......named after him.
