Here I'm at the Plains of Abraham
where a battle, which began on 13 September 1759,
was fought between the British Army and Navy, and the French Army,
just outside the walls of Quebec City.

Once the setting for bloody battles between the British and French,
the Plains of Abraham today serves as Quebec City’s” green lung”, a playground and peaceful arboreal retreat.

The park is to Quebec what Central Park is to New York.
