Each photo is a unique bird in this collection. All of the hybrids pictured are mixes of Laysans and black-footed albatross. Sometimes the mix is subtle. Picture 7 for example - its plumage was 1/4 Laysan, but its call very black-foot in quality. The albatross in picture 4 had a dance that was a mixture of Black-foot and Laysan elements, and its plumage was 3/4 Laysan and 1/4 Black-foot.
It was a thrill every time I spotted a new hybrid.
