The Kisatchie Bayou Recreation Area has about 20 campsites along Kisatchie Bayou. The camping area fills during the spring and summer, but during the late fall and winter you can take your pick of sites. The Caroline Dormon Trail skirts the bayou for some distance from the recreation area.
