Hoodoo 6 Part Verticals Pano

Somewhere in the Southwest

This is my first attempt using a special pano pan head to correct for paralax. Used 6 vertical images and cropped about 10% all around. Image ready for print is 10x30 inches at 300 dpi 8 bit 77.2 m file size. Canon Rebel "kit" lens was set at about 38mm.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

An astute comment by Petter! On the left I was shooting almost diretly into the sun and on the right had my back to the light. The exp in the various shots was all over the place and I did not use the software (PTGUi) that I am using now. As a result I had a lot of photoshop work to do to balance out this image.

Excellent panorama of this spectacular landscape! Must have been a challenge to stitch this considering the strong sidelight.
