This was the first edition of this magazine. It covers the middle western part of New Hampshire. "Kearsarge" is the name of a mountain in the area. 8,000 free copies of the magazine were give out at the New Hampshire Craftsmen's fair that month. I had two other images inside that I will post later. plus a short "on the cover" blurb inside. The original of this image is much better and can be seen at http://www.pbase.com/fredparsons/image/44899802 - even though the printing on the magazine was good too. I photographed this cover as I did not have a flat bed scanner handy.
