The Beguinage is a group of houses around a garden with large poplar trees. During the past seven centuries the beguines of Bruges lived here.
In 1937 the Beguinage became a monastery for the Benedictine sisters.
One of the best times to take pictures is in early spring, when the lawns are covered with thousands of daffodils.
