I'm with Marc. I like both versions but think that in this particular case the colour draws her out from the background better. It may have been different had she been against a solid, dark background but with the background having its own tonal transition I think it distracts the eye a bit from her tones.
The other thing is the warmth of the colour tones; the way she's holding herself suggests a slight chill in the air which is nicely offset by the warm feeling of her skin in the colour one.
I think that the BW one may have a slightly more glamorous, 30's feel to it, but in this case the colour one is the one that attracts me more, draws toward her, makes her feel more natural and friendly. Glamour is a fine technique but it can sometimes feel like a barrier between viewer and subject simply because the nature of a glamorous shot is to elevate the subject above the "everyday" rather than having them seem part of it.

I like both but i'm convinced colour suites more the subject

Both are great! And I prefer b/w - more dramatic! V

Both are excellent, but I like the B&W version

Sans hésiter le N&B ... Plus dure peut-être mais on est tout de suite attiré par le visage et le regard plus intense.
