These fungi were just shining in the woods today on the way home. Unfortunately, it was a bit dark, so I had to use the flash, but I just totally loved the color. The underside was a nice contrasty yellow (but not as bright). Very cool (the fungi, not the photo ;)

It's called the sulfur shelf mushroom and is relatively common in Western PA. Do a quick search and you will find numerous recipes for cooking. I like it because it has a nice meaty texture and cannot be confused with any of the poisonous 'shrooms out there. Thanks for the photo, Jim.
