I've always been a fan of infrared photos, but I've never tried them inside, until I saw Angela Johnson's photos. They inspired me to try this. At first I was going to upload a black and white version, but then I tried just a partial toning down of the colors instead of a full desaturation and liked the result much better. What do you think?


Shot with Hoya IR filter, slight crop, partially desaturated, curves and brightness adjusted just a bit, resized, USM, border and signature added.

Beautiful composition. The IR makes it pretty, but it's the composition that makes this a wonderful shot. ~g

Tough choice, I also like the B&W version but this has more impact.

This one this one this one this one!! Oh, did I mention I like this one? Franziska, it's gorgeous! The light is so delicate, and the composition so simple. A BEAUTIFUL IR floral photo. -- angela :)
