Owens Community College's Environmental Club is holding its first "Recycle Your Denim" collection drive April 22 through May 1, 2010. People can bring used denim jeans, jackets and purses to the Findlay campus in support of environmental awareness.

The denim collection drive initiative is part of a nationwide effort with the "Cotton. From Blue to Green" environmental program. The denim is converted to insulation, which is provided to communities in need.

Participants can drop off denim in the Findlay campus commons area.
