There are 375 species of birds on the checklist of the birds of Sinapore
(Singapore Checklist 2011 edition, NSS Bird group records committee 2011).
In addition to these are some ornamental birds, escapees and free-ranging birds from the Singapore Zoo or Jurong Bird Park, making a total of about 400 bird species.
