Contrary to its name, this stretch of coastline along Lampedusa's northern coast, known as Muro Vecchio, is of recent formation and of extraordinary beauty. Only a few years ago, a ridge of rock collapsed, leaving behind a vast white wall. At its foot, a tiny beach and a new seabed of white rocks have given the surrounding sea enchanting colors ranging from white to turquoise, making this spot one of the most visited for those sailing around the island.
