Une lumière exceptionnelle, entre le coucher du soleil et le village éclairé. Bravo.

Amazing image! The light is so unusual with the weak sun and the beautifully lit city. Wonderful picture, a great example of breaking the rules with the sun placed in the center.

i ADORE!!! this image.. it has so much drama and beauty and yet has a very quiet and serene and magical feel to it!
and the contrast between the beauty of nature and its simplicity and the beauty of human made habitation and architecture is so wonderful here! one of my very favorite images on pbase.!

Congratulations!
This is a magnificent image. It is a place out of a dream...a place you would want to live.
Everything is almost perfect....just because they say there is not just a thing as a perfect picture, but his is as perfect as it gets. Did you do a double exposure? or did you adjusted the exposure of the houses in Photoshop?...either way the end result was great.

If this is the result of one exposure only: absolutely flabbergasting!

Just a minor issue with leveling the horizon, with or without it's excellent.

Fantastic, Francis. Right place, right position, right time, right composition, right exposure. I hope you're selling this one because it should be framed and hung on many, many walls!
