Remembering Galen Rowell's advice to get up early for the best lighting, I was the probably the first guest awake onboard as we headed north through the Inside Passage. This next set of photos were taken somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00AM as the early morning sun snuck through cloudbanks and islands. This was a magical time.
