That blue really adds to the shot.
Paul Milholland22-Apr-2008 02:20
Quite a contrast between the warm tones in the lit area, and the very cool tones in the sky.

A wonderful night shot.

Excellent! I love that blue sky. For a couple reasons this wasn't possible with your D2X. At 800 ISO you'd only have had a 1/10 sec shutter. Too slow to handhold with a reasonable chance of any sharpness. And at 1/10 sec it wouldn't have been long enough to collect the blue of the sky!

I like the low/no noise!

I am very fond of the D3's ability to juxtapose warm and cool tones...this is greta, Vern. v.

Nicely shot, Vern. Did you get this in RAW?

Very sharp, low light shot. Good job! I also like the composition with the curved line of the railing.
