Mist in the morning sun

Sprinklers were going and the light was coming through just right. What looks like noise is actually drops of water from the sprinkler.

I miss the bright mornings we had when we lived in New York. Here in this part of North Carolina I wake up to darkness every day and have an opportunity to watch the sun come up (if it isn't foggy, which it is 90% of the time). I've seen light like what you've captured here and tried to photograph it effectively. I have not been as successful as you've been. Beautiful image. Isabel

Nice capture. It almost looked b&w to me in the medium size, but I can see color in the full-size. I wonder if you might want to create a brown toned version too. I think it would work. It has a very nice mood and I wonder if the brown tone or a slightly darker color version would push the moodiness a bit more.--Rene
