I am taking time to post a photo from the past that I recall, made in Alton Baker Park in January of 2015. The occasion remains firmly in memory. It was a cold winter day with frost and fog. The Great Blue Heron seemed content to just roost there overlooking a pond, just in case it spotted a fish in the pond below. For me, it was a day to keep moving. (I promised Steve I would post a picture)
