I learned that Rose Campion is native to northern Africa, southern Europe and the Middle East. It has become common in many place in the US. The plants do well in flower gardens and wildflower meadows. The plants grow tall, some here stand 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall and have small single flowers at the top of each branch. We have some here on the place. They weren't planted by us or our daughter, so evidently are volunteers. They are certainly pretty and add a lot to a flower garden.
