Fall Ferns

These ferns were across the fence from our yard and I watched them every day, admiring their golden color. Finally, I got my camera out and made a photograph of them for posterity. I thought they were beautiful.

(Dec 8 - I checked this morning and the ferns have faded and drooped. So it's the end for them this year.)

Good capture. And, yes, the ferns on the coast have quickly gone from nice patches of color along the forest trails to wilted wet ground cover. So, thanx for the timely photo.
