The Great Egret is also known as 'common egret, large egret, great white egret or great white heron' is a large bird with impressive wingspan, black legs and yellow bill. It is a bit smaller than a Great Blue Heron.

The egret is often seen in wetlands where it can be seen wading slowly or standing stock-still, peering intently at the water looking for fish. They can be found in many places in the world.
