Farm Near Triangle Lake, OR

I saw a lot of pretty scenery on a drive to Triangle Lake, including this beautiful farm scene. I loved the sugary snow dusting on the hills above the farm.

This is the old Blachly homestead on the left after you come down off Low Pass. My Mom's family (Erbs) owned and operated the gas station/store at Low Pass for many years when I was a youngster. The town of Blachly (formerly post office, hardware & feed store and grocery store) was a hub of activity. Blachly is now home of the volunteer fire station about 5 miles before T-Lake. Not just another pretty picture but hard working people who homesteaded and raised their family and built a community. Thank you for the trip back in time, Vern! Love it!
