I suppose these two fishermen at Alton Baker Park realized there was a third fisher hiding in the shadows.
You can be sure that if they get something on their line there will be competition for the catch!

That's a good shot of the trio. There used to be a heron around here that the local fishermen called Harry the Heron. He'd hang close to fishermen in hopes of getting a handout of the fish that were too small to keep.

A beautiful candid shot Vern. I encountered a very similar scene in Europe some years ago. The Heron patiently waited for the fishers to throw away their small catches.
