Bird In Flight

Semi-silhouette
I am in awe of the beauty of birds in flight. Their design and build is such that we humans can only copy in a limited way, using what we learn to improve our designs. The many varieties of birds, of such beauty it wins our admiration, and their ability to fly, sometimes thousands of miles on an unerring course of migration, can only fill us with wonder. Some of my most treasured books are on this subject.

the silhouette effect is used very well, especially with light leaking thru parts of the feathers to provide added interest and dimensionality
