Bodacious Redwing Blackbird

This beautiful Redwing Blackbird, in Alton Baker Park, was on the top of a post and was quite active, dancing around. It stayed there long enough for me to get some photos. I should have shot a video.

Vern, an exceptional capture. I am trying to motivate myself to reactivate my P base account I was not aware of a Yellow Headed Blackbird species until I saw them on the golf course here in Carson City, NV. Beautiful birds. For two years I had no idea of the species.

I was once repeatedly dive bombed by one of these guys while riding my bicycle. My helmet protected me, but did not deter the critter. It kept bouncing off the top of my helmet!
