Spread Your Wings!

This osprey (fish eagle) sat on a limb about its nest in Alton Baker Park, while I waited and waited for it to do something! Finally it spread its wings without taking off. I thought this was a nice pose. Shot made handheld. I am so impressed with Nikon's V1.

Great capture of this Osprey and his pose, well seen. Very good lighting and sharpness. Very well composed photo. Besides this blue color of sky in background gives a nice color contrast here. Wonderful image, very well done. V.
