Blooms Every Year in February

This rhododendrun in our front yard blooms every year in early February, this year no exception.
Since it bloomed, it has survived two snowfalls and a few frosts. It is loaded with blossoms.

I love rhodies. It must be nice to have them right there in your yard...although I think it's pretty darn nice to encounter them on the trail too.

That's a healthy bush! They don't handle our winters here in Ohio, so we have to head South to see them.
