Remembering Rosie

We lost our little toy poodle, Rosie, just a few hours after coming home from doctor appointments in Portland. We felt she waited for us to get home. She was 15. The figure is a lawn figure that Carol painted white. Our granddaughter, Makayla, painted in the details, doing a wonderful job.

How very sad for you and Carol Vern. I have had most of my pets for 19 or 20 years and I know how painful it can be to loose them. My pets have always been my second best friend, after my hubby.

So sorry for your loss, but they have sure created a beautiful memorial for Rosie.

I am so sorry to hear this, it is hard to lose a friend, I know the two of you will miss her greatly. what a great memorial to her. Please let Carol know I will be praying for peace for the two of you. Love You Both.

Oh my gosh Vern, I'm so sorry! Give Carol my sympathies. I never understood how people could be so wrapped up stoopid for their pets until I adopted my Honey. After a 15 minutes she was and is my 3rd child. I can't imagine losing her. My thoughts are with you both.

So beautiful Vern! I wish I had that for my little doodles. I have his picture on my wall where he is looking at me and I keep looking at it. I did plant an olive tree where I buried him and it's now growing quite large. At the base of the tree I have a solar sun jar so it glows orange at night. Almost seems like his little spirit out there. He was only 4 years old. 15 years is a good age for those dogs but even so they don't live long enough if you ask me. It's so sad and so many memories of them being there. :(

This is lovely Vern, a beautiful memorial to dear little Rosie. We know dogs have a limited life span, and it's so difficult when they have to leave us. Sympathy to you and Carol. Rosie had a wonderful doggy life with your family.
