In the late 60's I worked as a telephone installer in the lower east side of Detroit, Michigan. This was an area that had been decimated by the 1967 riots. One of the larger set of buildings in my service area was the Hudson plant. Emptied by then, there was a street overpass which still proudly displayed the Hudson name and shield. They were very cool cars, but the "Big Three" systematically targeted the smaller carmakers in the market.
