Downtown Eugene from Skinners Butte

This view of downtown Eugene is from the top of Skinners Butte, looking south with Spencers Butte in the distance. That is the main street, Willamette, in the center.

I headed for the top of Skinners Butte to catch the lights at dawn. When I got to the gate to the park, it was closed. So I had to climb the butte to get my shot, but it was worth it.

It's a BEAUTY! Looks like the tallest building is about 15 stories? That's a nice sized city, not too big, but big enough to have good stuff like restaurants and stores.
