Great shot and good technique in holding that big camera Vern! Wonder how much it weights with the 24-70/F2.8 ED lens.
Bea.20-May-2010 00:38
You just have to get the right angle!

Gosh - what a pretty country. If ever I move somewhere other than CA it would be here.
Ed Duverger19-May-2010 19:19
You show me very well here how to hold the cam for"portrait" pics.

Love it, Vern. How fun to have a shot of you busy doing what you do best. Well, one of the things you do best, anyway. :)
Marla 16-Sep-2009 02:39

You can tell you're a pro, you don't knock your hat off like I do.

Hi Vern! Now don't you wish we didn't need glasses when we shoot? Sigh. Can we get perscription diopters? Although then we'd need perscription LCD screens too, ha ha. Linda S

The master at work. Great shot he got of you. Rarely do we see how you do what you do - just the end result.

That's the way I learned a long time ago, Virginia. The vertical handgrip sometimes just doesn't feel right to me. I am used to doing it this way.
v c bacon13-Sep-2009 05:54
Wow, look at that technique!
Guest 13-Sep-2009 05:41

Paul Milholland13-Sep-2009 03:13
Good example of a portrait putting the subject in its context.
Mark Krauss13-Sep-2009 02:59
Fun shot of you, Vern. A little soft like a portrait should be! Makes me wonder though why you don't use the vertical hand-grip shutter release?
Guest 13-Sep-2009 02:55
