Junction City Water Tower

Recently, Junction City's water tower was lighted with a series of LED's, transforming it into a thing of beauty. I went there early while still dark so that I could enjoy the view. Result was lots of images of the tower bathed in a variety of colors. I think it's beautiful this way.

And I thought we only had one of these... The one in Wetaskiwin, Alberta is the oldest working one in Canada. I use to climb ours and change the light on the top...If you drop into my site and see the City of Wetaskiwin Gallery you will see it there.. Thanks for sharing yours...

What a neat attraction to the city! Making a common ordinary structure come alive with color. Love the way it changes colors and the mix of several colors together. Someone had a great idea! This makes a great gallery of nice shots, Vern!
