Sculptures in the Sky

Reflections (buildings rise like sculptural sails) at Keppel Bay is one of Singapore’s
most distinctive waterfront landmarks with its six soaring, undulating towers rise
like sails above the marina. Framed by elegant yachts and wispy clouds, the complex
presents a striking harmony of bold architecture, luxury and waterfront living.

Designed by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind and completed in 2011, the "Reflections at Keppel Bay" residential complex comprises six undulating towers and eleven low-rise buildings housing villa-style apartments (which inevitably are often overlooked). Within these six spectacular highrisers, the floor plan of each level is slightly offset, breaking away from rigid alignment to create a fluid, organic form. Ranging from 24 to 41 stories in height, these six glass towers feature rooftop gardens and are interconnected by skybridges. All these elements are captured in this photograph, where the luxury yachts appear to play merely a supporting role. The scene is perfectly complemented by silky cirrus clouds that seem to welcome these six imposing giants. ~VVVVV+++~

One of the most beautiful photos I have seen of Singapore; I love the cloudy sky and the curvature of the tall towers connected to each other. Indeed, those are sculptures in the sky. I am curious what that brown building with a large window is that stands right behind that large yacht. VVV
