A view reserved only for those high up in the sky; The most amazing colors and light visible only shortly before the sun starts to rise above the horizon. The dark blue/purple area above the horizon is basically the shadow of the earth and visibly 'moves' away as the sun gets higher and higher, making it a short-lived moment of beauty. As one colleague once said; it is just as if a huge blanket is pulled from the earth and a new day is born.
