Golf Fish

Malaysia

I know this is "gruesome" sight of fish slaughter. But what I wanted to show here is the glove that the lady was wearing while cleaning the fish. How often do you witness a person using a golf glove to clean a fish?!! For another similar shot, click on this thumbnail :

Interesting scene captured, Tricia. Maybe she just came off the course? Hopefully the glove gives extra protection. V.

DC, It's not dangerous to live here as much as in any other part of the world. We all get pricked now and then even with flower thorns or even branches from the trees. :D

It seems dangerous to live in Malaysia... prickly fruits, prickly fishes... prickly husbands ?
Just kidding Tricia, I hope he's a big teddybear...

For those of you who might be wondering why a golf glove was used and like Vincent yelled out loud about the cost - this is a used and probably worn out golf glove. The "owner' of the fish pond is a golfer and probably discarded his old gloves for the use of this and I think it's safer. Don't underestimate the injury that these fishes can cause your hand when cleaning them. The scales are really sharp. I got pricked a couple of times washing them before cooking!

yikes - those things cost $$$ wouldn't a cheap pair of rubber gloves do the trick
