John's wings were flown on STS-47

Commander Robert "Hoot" Gibson borrowed John's USAF wings and took them on a 3.3
million mile trip, 126 orbits around the Earth on the Shuttle Endeavour.
He had them framed and returned them to John.
Pretty darn cool!
