Hyacinth macaws and other birds were pictured in Pantanal, Brazil.
The Hyacinth Macaw isa threatened species and is the subject of a WWF project in this location in the southern part of Pantanal.

Thanks for visiting my galleries. Those monguses were very funny to photograph!!! Their den was in front of were we were staying and they were very used to people. As I was photographing somw of them, the rest of the pack took interest on my equipment. There was one of them that decided to take shelter inside the hood of the lens and fell asleep in there...very funny. By the time I was done taking their pictures, that camera was so FULL OF DIRT that I could not use it for the rest of the day and spend hours cleaning it. I will be posting the rest of the pictures in the next few days.
I noticed you have some nice pictures of birds from el Pantanal from Brazil. I have been looking into going there possibly this year and would like your opinion. Also, If you know any good guide that would like to recommend there feel free to do so.
