Running Coyote (gallery)

I was driving the Silverado when a Coyote ran across in front of me.
I hit the down window button, reached for the Nikon and followed the
mangy, scraggly female as she ran full speed to the distant woods.
My D300 had the 70/200 f2.8 AF-S VR w/ TC17EII converter.
The photos are not razor sharp or particularly good,
but it was a chance of a lifetime and I took it.
Often times you have to be happy with what you get!
