If you head this way down the PCT you wind up on the bottom of Zigzag Canyon faced with a ford of Zigzag River, which isn't horrid this time of the year, but you still get hot feet. Lots of people do it, to get to Paradise Park. But the famous flower show would be largely gone at this late date. Best in August.
