Fred & Julie I'm an old country boy. I was raised on squirrel, rabbit and snapping turtle out of Dan River. There are seven different flavors of meat in a snapping turtle, like there are 7 different flavors in a hog. They are good eating meat. A small snapping turtle can bite your finger off very easy. Even after the head has been cut off!! Great photo.
