The Burning Spring

A Natural gas spring that stays lit even in water. You can smell the gas from 150 feet away. A nearby Burning Spring in Bristol was first reported, when Native Americans led Frenchman Lasalle to that spring in 1663.

That's amazing. Do you have a latitude and longitude for this? If I went there, would I see the same thing as in the photo, i.e., is the flamne perpetual??

I'm reasearching a branch of the Case family and it is my understanding that it was owned by a Walter Case at one time.

Can you tell us the best way to get to it?
