As I was photographing this falls, I noticed a name stamped into the slate ledge to my right. I cleared away the dead fern fronds and discovered a beautifully enscribed (?) "PS Grimes 1847" I guess thats how Grimes Glen got its name!

I LOVE shooting waterfalls, this is one I have to see. Is it a long hike to get to this spot?
