I ran into a hail storm about halfway between Dolores and Mancos.
I saw a pickup truck coming at me that had a bunch of white on the
hood and I figured it was snow, until I rounded the bend and saw the
hail falling quite heavily. There was probably 1.5 - 2 inches of
hail on the ground!
