Scroll through to frame 3619 through 3622.

This file shows the colour channels from the image sensor prior to a whole bunch of processing. They are not really he colour channels, they are an inverted, log compressed, version. The point is that small changes I these result in larger changes to the final image.

As you scroll through these few frames you can see that you go from a heavy exposure to something that appears to be more “normal”.

In the initial frames you can see the light leaking to the side frame gate and adjacent image. Black levels in the image are also lifted up relative to the sides of the film, which represent the darkest level, if they are un-exposed.

After the exposure change the dark parts of the image are closer in level to the outer parts of the film and there is not the spilling of light into the adjacent frames.
