open a representative size image to judge size of type
Start recording action
Type the copyright logo anywhere in the upper left area of the image.
Enter (or click check) to commit the text
Select ALL (CTRL+A)
Contract the selection (I used 20 pixels) to create a margin to the photo edge.
Select the Move tool (shortcut letter V)
Click on Align Bottom Edges in the move option palette
Click on Align Left Edges
Deselect (CTRL+D)

(optional) (RED highlight in action steps)
Add layer styles, bevel/emboss, drop shadow, outer glow and reduce Text layer fill.
Stop recording

to customize for an individual picture, turn on the action dialog box for the Make Text Layer
(Green highlight in the action)
Then you can adjust all characteristics of the text before continuing the action.
