One of many ways to tone an image
1. Open a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. This allows future editing.
2. Select the Colorize box (and Preview, if not already selected).
3. Adjust the Hue slider for desired tone.
4. Adjust saturation slider.
(5. Split mask on the adjustment layer is only for before/after comparison)
