Picture frame for sepia toned photograph

Copper foil technique with brass edges. This picture frame was designed to resemble the view through an old window. I used rippled clear glass "panes" to create minor distortions of the photograph underneath. The seams have brass patina to accent the 11"x14" sepia-toned photograph. It can be hung in a window, where the transparancy of the photograph creats an entirely different appearance. The steam engine was photographed at Monticello Illinois shortly after it was restored by the Monticello Railway Museum.
