Covered bridge octagonal window

Designed after the covered bridges that we enjoy in and around Turkey Run State Park, Indiana. Copper foil technique with geodes and nuggets inset. Irridescent glass represents the flowing water. This project fits into an octagonal window next to our front entry. I wanted light but privacy to block the view of our (often cluttered) coat rack. The solder seams have black patina and the panel is set into a wooden frame (stained to match our woodwork) with black silicone sealer. The framed project is held in place in the existing window with two screws.

other sizes: small medium original auto
