August 25, 2005

People were lined up along this highway to pay their respects to a local
soldier who was killed in Iraq last week. The procession (about 10 minutes
behind me) was taking him to his hometown for burial on Saturday.

Excellent treatment. We had two local soldiers killed in the bombing a 11 days back. Funerals were Saturday also. Misguided protesters made a mockery of it with tasteless signs.
