I have no idea of the science behind this ice cubes deformity, but it would have been interesting to watch it happen.

I let it melt and found no foreign substance that might have caused the 'spike'. And I am grateful for that. lol

This is pretty cool Faye! I assume it has something to do with expansion during freezing; but I have no clue either! ;)
